The girl gets separated from her mother , who reaches Pakistan and realizes that her daughter is missing and is left behind in India. The story is about reunion of the girl with her family after the passing the hurdles of religion and the borders separating the two countries.

Pk is a movie in which an alien (Aamir Khan) visits earth and tries very hard to understand the way we human beings work. This movie questions various religious stereotypes. It talks about the affect of various stereotypes related to religion on human psychology. It talks about various ways people use to connect with GOD and arouses questions on whether the ways we follow are correct or we are dialing a wrong number somewhere else. It also the questions the existence of various self styled God men. These deep rooted issues are handled in a very light and humorous manner but, have power to arouse to various questions within oneself.
It talks about the duality in our behavior as human beings. There is a great divergence on what we think and what we talk. The language we use has different meanings in different contexts.
When we leave the theatre, we leave with a sense of refreshment along with several questions popping within ourselves whether we are dialing a wrong number or a right number.
